Influenza A. Isolation. If you build it.2/29/2020 Hey Anna's Tribe! I've been stuck at home recovering from Influenza A. Threw a bit of a monkey wrench in my chemo cycle. I'm over the worst of it now. Past feeling miserable, but very much so feeling stir crazy. I'm isolating at home for a few more days, and so my curiosity got the better of me. Can I still build a website? Do I have the technical ability to do that? Do I need a website? Have I really become the "old lady" who doesn't understand technology. Verdict is in, and the answer is yes..and also no. Turns out I can build a website. Anyone can these days. It's way less technical than when I built my last one circa 2005. Very intuitive user interfaces significantly reduce the need for technical expertise to build a basic site with basic (and in some cases advanced) functionality. On the other hand...15 years out of the loop has left me eons behind the curve in actually understanding what functionality and content is now available, hip, helpful, or anything that a site visitor would want to engage with were they to stumble across my website. Heck...I'm not even sure what exact purpose I want this site to serve. Perhaps a blog for folks to access regular medical updates from me, a resource to provide helpful insights from my cancer journeys, a place to define and build an identity for Anna's Tribe, an eCommerce site to purchase Tribe merch and make charitable contributions, a gallery to collect photographs and memories, or just something to pass the time when another hiccup in the cancer journey pulls me out of my daily routine and into dreaded "isolation". Who knows. I hope it will eventually serve as more than a few of these things. This post will effectively serve as "Test Blog Alpha" while I continue to fiddle. That means it is going to have a random test photo, sound clip, etc. Forgive the randomness.

Fiddle away, Girl. Your website has a great vibe, which is exactly what I expected. After all, it is a reflection of you. ;)
